Dear Ripa Sangha and Friends,

What an incredible Summer Retreat we had!

Our Ripa Sangha had the great fortune to welcome Gyetrul Jigme Rinpoche to Europe after his one-year solitary retreat. We were also blessed with the exceptional presence of His Eminence Tertön Namkha Drimed Rinpoche as well as Dungsey Lhuntrul Rinpoche.

The first week of teachings was devoted to the Bardo, with precise and timely instructions given by Gyetrul Jigme Rinpoche for living and dying. We enclosed a note at the link below that Rinpoche was kind enough to create for his students and those who would like a guide for a family member or friend during this crucial time of dying.

After the Bardo teaching, His Eminence was kind enough to lead the Shitro Puja and Shitro Empowerment that was attended by a great number of students, including many friends from the Tibetan Community living in Switzerland.

During Week Two of the retreat, our traditional annual Yeshe Tsogyal Drupchö was held, led with the exceptional guidance of our three Ripa Masters.

During Week Three, the Hayagriva Drupchö was held for the second time in the Ripa International Center, with the aim of continuing to dispel obstacles and increase prosperity so that our Center may become a flagship for Dharma throughout Europe.

The summer retreat was a high time to reconnect with our Teachers and precious Sangha friends who attended from close and afar. We all know how important the RIC is as a Center for our teachers’ blessings and as a platform for our community. Your participation in our events enables us to keep the flame of Dharma alive within our hearts, within the Ripa center and within the bonds that unite and connect us. Your continuous engagement through our Ripa Supporter Program supports the Ripa Center’s activities and helps us meet the many needs of our flourishing Dharma community.

Thank you all for making the effort to visit the Center during this auspicious time! And thank you to our Teachers for their selfless dedication to our well-being.
