| Dearest Ripa Sangha Brothers and Sisters,
Sey Dechen Dorje Rinpoche (Sepo as he is called by his close family), Lhuntrul Rinpoche’s son, was enthroned as the 6th hier to the Ripa lineage in Thupten Rigon Mindrolling monastery on the 9th day of the first month of the Year of the Water Tiger, in the presence of His Eminence Namkha Drimed Rabjam Rinpoche and Dungsey Lhuntrul Rinpoche, as well as the Ripa tulkus, high representatives of the monastic Sangha, and the members of the Noble Ripa Family.
The ceremony took place under the most auspicious circumstances!
A small representation of the European Sangha and the Ripa International Center was there in the persons of Lama Tenzin Phuntsok and myself to accompany this very precious occasion and make the customary Mandala offering on behalf of all of us. It was a very humbling and emotive moment – I am happy to share a few images with you.
The whole European Sangha was very much present in Orissa, and both Lama Tenzin and myself shared your good wishes and love with all the Ripa Family.
Further, on the occasion of His Eminence’s birthday, the Ripa International Center offered His Eminence a Swiss golden coin and made the request that He may be present with us during the upcoming Summer retreat and the 10th anniversary of the Center.
Likewise, on the auspicious occasion of Guru Rinpoche Day, our friends of the Russian Sangha presented to His Eminence the offering of 900,000 long life prayers which have been accumulated by the Russian and international Sangha.
