Dear Friends of the Ripa International Sangha,

We are happy to share with you the program of activities planned for the Summer Retreat 2021, with Gyetrul Jigme Rinpoche and Lama Tenzin Phuntsok.

The situation created by the Covid-19 pandemic is slowly starting to improve. In Switzerland, groups of up to one hundred people can meet. In addition, Gyetrul Jigme Rinpoche has confirmed that he will be with us at the RIC to guide this summer’s retreat, including the teachings of Lojong, as well as being the vajra master of the two drupchös.

This is why we can now confirm that an in-person retreat will take place, in accordance with the necessary travel arrangements for each one. You may check the conditions for your travel through the Swiss Confederation’s following page: BAG Switzerland.

The proposed activities will be in a hybrid format (on-site and online). The drupchös will be organized locally, with a small group of former monks of the Ripa lineage living in Europe and western students, as travel from Nepal and India remains difficult.

We invite you to discover the programs of activities and encourage you to register by clicking on each of the links. You will need to register separately for each of the retreat modules.

We do hope that many of you will be able to travel and celebrate these activities in the presence of our precious teacher!

With Love & Gratitude

Enriching Gesar Drupchö

with Gyetrul Jigme Rinpoche

The teachings of Gesar are critical to this age of degeneration. In essence, Gesar is the bodily emanation of Manjurshri, the speech of Avalokiteshvara, and the mind of Vajrapani. In quality and activity, Gesar is identical to Guru Padmasambhava.
