Dear Members of the International Ripa Sangha,

We sincerely hope that you, your family and friends are doing well as the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic unfolds. The Ripa teachers, members of the Ripa family, Ripa monastery staff, as well as the leadership teams from all major Ripa organizations around the world wish to send to the Ripa Sangha a message of calm, serenity and trust. May this crisis help us strengthen our confidence in the Dharma!

On the “bright side”, these exceptional circumstances are creating more opportunities to increase our practice and to listen to more Dharma teachings than ever before. Thanks to online platforms, access to teachings organized across the world and held in the Ripa lineage monasteries can be made easily accessible to all Sangha members. Furthermore, the Ripa teachers welcome this opportunity to be ever more present and close to their international community of students, at a time when their presence is most needed.

Various Ripa organizations, namely, the Ripa Ladrang Foundation, Ripa International Center, Ripa Russia, Ripa Ukraine and Ripa Vietnam have agreed to join in creating an internationally coordinated schedule of programs for the remainder of 2020 and the foreseeable future. They will be a combination of traditional “locally organized programs” and “internationally organized programs”, all under the centralized coordination and production at the Ripa International Center. The RIC will ensure that international communication of programs is centralized and access is made available to all members of the international Sangha across the globe.

The coming months will be rich in teachings and rituals! Additional news, events and programs will be announced again soon. Let’s rejoice in the precious opportunity that these circumstances are creating for all of us.
With Love and Gratitude,
The Ripa International Center & The Ripa Ladrang Foundation
