Dear Friends of the Ripa International Sangha,
Soon at the RIC, from April 13 to April 18, we will have the opportunity to practice Nyung-Né together again with Lama Tenzin! This is a powerful practice to purify our negative actions and to develop compassion toward other suffering beings.
What better time to dedicate merit and benefits to beings that are suffering from the war in Ukraine!
“Due to the great purifying power of this practice, even a being who has done extremely harmful acts, if he does even one Nyung-Né by performing it correctly, he is assured of not having to be reborn in the lower states of existence and will progress rapidly along the path of Enlightenment.”
Our compassionate thoughts and prayers should be directed toward the person receiving these wishes.
Doing a Nyung-Né Practice means that your body stands in retreat, your speech stands in retreat and your mind stands in retreat. The essential meaning of the retreat is to withdraw from non-virtuous actions of body, speech and mind. Abstaining from negative karma that harms others is a fundamental tantric practice.
