“Emotions are the last shield of ego: they overwhelm us and throw us into confusion. Yet, according to Tibetan Buddhism, emotions are considered as trapped energy with the potential to be liberated and transformed into pure energy. Rather than rejecting them, the tantric path offers us the possibility to welcome them and use them as the basis of our work on the spiritual path. Through the practice of meditation, we are able to create a space whereby we can welcome our emotions and let them dissolve by themselves effortlessly. In this spacious openness, the true nature of mind can reveal itself.
In Buddhism, space is linked to the universal feminine principle, represented in Tibetan Buddhism by the Dakini Yeshe Tsogyal.”
