SUMMARY:Ripa Awareness Meditation LIVE With Geneviève Hamelet
DESCRIPTION:“Learning to live well with others involves living well with every aspect of our minds.”— Gyetrul Jigme Rinpoche \nDear Friends\, \nRipa Awareness Meditation (RAM) is a simple and effective method to stabilize the mind using SHAMATA\, a millenary technique that uses breathing as a support to develop “mental calm”. Once the mind is settled\, aspects of VIPASSANA meditation\, or “penetrating vision”\, are introduced\, facilitating approaches that free the mind from conceptual fabrication.  Attentive presence and mindfulness work together to help us accept life situations as they are and make them the very object of our meditative practice. \nThe Ripa Awareness Meditation (RAM) method was developed by Gyetrul Jigme Rinpoche\, authentic master of Tibetan Buddhism of the Ripa lineage. \nIn this online weekend\, Geneviève Hamelet\, a senior instructor and long time student of Gyetrul Jigme Rinpoche\, will guide participants through the most salient aspects of this meditation technique\, to experience calm abiding and discover insight. \n\nRipa Awareness Meditation (RAM) is a simple and effective method to stabilize the mind using SHAMATA\, a millenary technique that uses breathing as a support to develop “mental calm”.
