DESCRIPTION:With Dungsey Gyetrul Jigme Rinpoche \nWith great joy we announce that on October 2 Dungsey Gyetrul Jigme Rinpoche will be giving a day of public talks in the meditation hall of the Stupa Epuyen. \nBorn in India in 1970\, he is the son and spiritual heir of His Eminence Tertön (Treasure Discoverer Dharma)\, Namkha Drimed Rabjam Rinpoche\, Ripa Lineage Holder\, in the Nyingma and Kagyu traditions. Jigme Rinpoche was recognized by the extraordinary Dudjom Rinpoche\, as the emanation of Pema Lingpa Tertön\, one of the five main discoverers of teaching-treasure left by Guru Padmasambhava. In his previous life he was in charge of the monastery of Orgyen Mindroling in sacred land of Pemako. \nAlong with his father and brother\, he is spiritual director of Ripa International\, whose headquarters are in Switzerland\, with offices in several countries in Europe and North America. Thubten Mindrolling monastery\, located in Orissa\, India\, is a center of traditional training in different areas of philosophy\, art\, astrology\, medicine and a retreat center. Rinpoche has also developed humanitarian projects for potable water\, health centers\, children’s education and care of the elderly. \nDuring his two previous visits Rinpoche expressed his desire to visit the mountains and return to Patagonia. It helps to transform disturbed energies into positive outcomes. This practice is specifically undertaken to heal and bring harmony\, peace\, wisdom and compassion to all beings. Engaging in the practice of Tsog offering helps to release mental projections and ignorance as well as ego clinging which often manifests as anger\, attachment\, pride and envy\, thus allowing one to fully enter into non-dual wisdom. The ultimate result is peace\, positive circumstances and bliss\, leading us further towards enlightenment\, as we dedicate the merit to all beings. \nGuru Rinpoche Day Celebration\nAugust 13th marks the 10th day of the Monkey month of the Monkey year\, an extremely auspicious occasion that only happens once every twelve years! SUMMARY:How to Bring Meaning and Purpose into One’s Life
DESCRIPTION:With Dungsey Lhuntrul Dechen Gyurmey Rinpoche \nIn this morning talk Dungsey Lhuntrul Dechen Gyurmey Rinpoche will speak about what makes life meaningful\, and how one can find one’s way to give the best of one’s self in life. \nOften in  Buddhism the importance of gaining merit and wisdom are emphasized as being the foundation for eventually attaining enlightenment. It is through merit that we gain insight and wisdom\, and eventually develop boddhicitta. \nInitially\, we develop merit by what we offer to others and to our environment. By developing\, cultivating and refining altruistic intent\, our attitude and motivation in giving\, we share the best of ourselves with others – it  is what distinguishes us as human beings\, and as individuals\, and brings purpose\, even grace\, to what we do. Nobility develops by opening our hearts to others. \nAs one example of how a noble offering can transform others’ lives\, and bring sacredness to it\, the Boddhisattva Manjushri once stated that “If you live in a house decorated with flowers\, your mind will abide (in calmness) and attain (spiritual) fruit.”  Thus a seemingly simple gesture of offering flowers can have a more profoundly positive impact than we may realize. By reflecting upon and developing what it is that we wish to offer\, our lives can be completely transformed through the richness we discover within ourselves\, and are then able to share with others\, if we are able to bring our gifts forth. \nAnd\, further\, by reflecting and gaining insight about the ultimate purpose of the opportunity of having a human life\, what the ultimate good could be\, complete enlightenment\, we might begin to more fully appreciate how incredibly fortunate we actually are.

Registration begins at 6:30pm\, with the event taking place from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. \nTopics to include: “Inner Change – From Inside Out” and “Social Engagement and How We Interact with the World Around Us” \nRinpoche will give a teaching on the development of a sense of gratitude\, loving kindness and compassion that enables us to become socially engaged Buddhists as well as be joyful individuals contributing to our own sense of peace and that of those around us. Teachings will be in Tibetan with French translation. \nAbout the Teacher\nLhuntrul Dechen Gyurmey Rinpoche was born\, in keeping with Guru Rinpoche’s prophecy\, in 1976 as the son of His Eminence Namkha Drimed Rabjam Rinpoche and Khandro Chime Drolkar. He was recognized as the reincarnation of Jigme Tempay Gyeltsen\, the 3rd Tamdrin Lhunpo Chogtrul. In conjunction with his recognition\, he was enthroned at Namdroling monastery in Mysore amidst an ocean of lamas\, tulkus\, and monks presided over by Kyabje Drupwang Penor Rimpoche\, who bestowed upon him the name Gyurme Thegchog Shedrub Tnpay Gyeltsen.
