1999

October: Groundbreaking Ceremony

2000

August: Foundation excavation for the New Treasures monastery began.

November: The New Treasures foundation and structural pillars were completed.

December: H.E. Namkha Drimed Rabjam Rinpoche and Jigme Rinpoche viewed the progress.

2001

March: Slab casting and formwork were performed.

April: The New Treasures site continued to take form.

December: Construction continued.

2002

January: the New Treasures site continued to grow. Also, Renderings of the statues for the Main Hall were completed.

June: construction at the New Treasures site continued. Also, the Architect's June 2002 Status Report was published.

2003

May: sacred statues began to take form.

June: construction continued. Also, the June 2003 Progress Status Report was published.

July: construction continued.

2004

April: castings have begun for the Kitchen and the West Blocks

December: painting has begun on the outside of the Monastery

2005

April: Monks quarters are completed and more painting.

May: construction continued.

July: Statues are nearing completion and more painting detail.
