You are invited to become a member of Ripa Ladrang Foundation.
Your membership assists the foundation to operate, to take care of its
administrative expenses, pay its attorney and accountant, maintain required
insurance, and pay general operating expenses, plus the necessary travel
and teaching expenses for the Ripa teachers. It pays for printing costs,
the free tapes that are distributed to students, operation of the Web
Site, postage and shipping, supplies, photo reproduction, etc. All services
by Board members and officers, as well as volunteer helpers, are offered
free to the Foundation and no cost is incurred for these individuals.
When you become a member at the level that you can afford, you directly
participate in helping bring the Buddhist dharma into the world. This
organization will support the Ripa lineage of the Nyingma branch of Tibetan
Buddhism. Its purpose is to maintain and support the ancient Ripa teachings
in the United States as well as abroad, and provide means to adapt these
teachings to modern life as we enter the new Millennium.
The primary teachings, projects and activities the foundation will support
are those of H.E. Namkha Drimed Rinpoche, Terton and other Ripa teachers
such as Gyetrul Jigme Rinpoche. It will support their teaching activities,
facilities and other needs in the United States, India, Nepal, Tibet and
Europe.
We invite anyone connected to these teachers and teachings, who would
like to support them, to become a member of the Ripa Ladrang Foundation.
The "benefits" of membership are that you receive discounts to most teachings
and events and special thank you gifts at times, such as free photos of
the teachers, etc., and the good feeling of knowing that you are supporting
a very worthy spiritual cause.
When you send in your membership contribution by check or money order
/ cashier’s check, please be sure to write "Membership" on the
payment instrument noting the membership level. And you are welcome pay
it in one lump sum for a year’s membership or to pay it by the month if
that is more convenient for you.
